Communication is a key to minimizing unexpected surprises since owners are contacted for approval when there is an extraordinary repair required.
Dakota currently has a maintenance team who understand the urgency of responding to resident calls quickly and courteously in order to maintain resident relations. However, they are also sensitive to making only necessary repairs in keeping with the property they are working on and not overextending the value of the repair. This is a difficult balance to maintain and is constantly reviewed by Dakota management to keep maintenance costs to a minimum.
Work orders are batched by property to eliminate multiple trips to a property which saves time and money.
